Our music definitely takes its root from Spanish music (copla, zarzuela, etc.), but it is by means of all our various personalities that it becomes our own...We are influenced by very different fields of interest, films, music of all kind, theater, opera, travelling, life experiences, literature, etc. All combined and reinterpreted to construct a platform for our dreams.
The show is very dynamic, because it swings from very dramatic moments to very playful ones in a wave of emotion. Wild fusion, Spanish Cabaret, musical circus, could all very well be descriptions of what we do, but essentially Anhela is about playing music, that will move your core, and a sincere need to connect with the audience to build a universe we can all relate to...

Anhela floats in time, and inhabits different worlds...Plays with the past and the present of Spanish clishees, and other archetypes of the collective subconscious. Anhela´s six musicians and their imagery manage to create a unique show, and an unforgettable experience for anybody who decides to come along.
